North is forward. We were heading South on that road on the right so, we were coming toward the camera here. The farthest set of tracks is the front tires going sideways, the closer tracks are the rear. The truck turned, on ice, 142 degrees to the right before leaving the pavement to slide though this snow. It is very dense snow; you don't sink into it when you walk across it. Our final landing left us on driver side of the truck right on that flat spot in front of the camera. That car is pointed South (the direction we were going). We left the road where the car is parked and stopped here. I'm told we rolled for eighty feet. We sure did cover some ground. |
