Today we put both classes together for the story. Each class followed a different worksheet while the story was read. The younger children had to re-arrange lines from the story on their worksheet to mach the correct order. The problem I found with putting the two classes (different age groups) together was the different speeds to teach at. The younger children can't grasp all the details and only need to learn an overview of the story. On the other hand. the older children need to take the time to think, in depth, about the story to even be interested in it. Signing the Birthday Card for Pastor Ed. |
